Graeme Browning/Mitzi Macintosh (2009) – Performer, artist and fundraiser

In the guise of Mitzi Macintosh, Graeme Browning has been one of the GLBT community’s most influential performers and personalities for over 20 years. During this time, Graeme and Mitzi have helped raise millions of dollars for GLBT-related charities and organisations including almost $800,000 as the host of ACON’s weekly fundraising event Bingay. Graeme was inducted into Hall of Fame at last year’s Drag Industry Variety Awards and was also the creative director of the Mardi Gras parade for three years.

Ken Davis (2009) – Political activist and GLBT historian

Ken Davis has been active within NSW’s GLBT community since the early 1970s. He co-founded Gay Solidarity in 1978, helped organise the first three Mardi Gras festivals and has been active in various GLBT and HIV advocacy groups including the Gay and Lesbian Immigration Task Force, the Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby and the Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations.
